“Alright, long time linux server admin, short time using a desktop environment. Installed Deb12 minimal then KDE-desktop. I've been loving it with the exception of wavebox (browser focused around multiple accounts) deciding to use every bit of my CPU at times. The computer isnt a slouch i7-10750H and 16gb ram with I think an rtx3050 gpu. I can't seem to pin down exactly what is causing it to use all the CPU, but want to know what are some options to curb any app from doing this. Nothing should be”

However, in practice, the performance doesn’t yet feel well optimized. (Already send the diagnostics) For example, the folder system is interesting, but the differences between Spaces (which seem similar to contexts in Surf), Apps (which I assume are “boosted” links), and Lines of separation I can add (which actually work the best for me) aren’t very clear”

“I've tried so many different tools for combining/organising my web apps. On Mac new browsers like Arc and SigmaOS do a lot of what I'm looking for, but Wavebox remains the go-to tool for Windows. It's very flexible, really nicely designed, very frequently updated and whenever I've needed some help, the replies from Susan and team have been detailed and very friendly. One thing I find is that the setup options are so flexible that the choices can be a little overwhelming, but that's a small quib”
