What it is

Overview

A conversational AI music generator that produces full-length songs with vocals through chat commands. Flow Music is a wrapper on Lyria 3.5 for audio generation and the Veo model for music videos. Users describe the chat interface as the main draw — you type what kind of song you want, and the AI producer responds with complete tracks including vocals, instruments, and arrangement. The audience spans content creators, musicians, and video producers who need background music or want to experiment with AI composition.

I tested Suno and Google Flow Music (formerly related to MusicFX / Lyria / Producer ai / Riffusion) and honestly, Music Flow could lead Suno to oblivion. My current take: **Suno = ideal for instant creativity** * Extremely easy to use * Ideal for catchy choruses and viral songs * Fast idea generation * Better community/sharing atmosphere * “Type a prompt → get a song in 30 seconds” But there are still problems: * voice artifacts * weird compression * unstable harmonics * “AI Sound” in some track

Lyria3 has massive issues and ESPECIALLY with vocals and a clear lack of context/training data. I'm not sure if it's how the model builds the song in the background in chunks like people are speculating similar to how Udios model does, but just like with Udio except here it's way worse. The vocals almost always sound like they're being performed by a singer that's one Xanax away from an overdose. The timing feels off, lines are just sung twice at times making absolutely no sense in the context o

Google just dropped Flow Music and it's a game-changer for anyone who ever wished they could make real tracks without touching a DAW. The old ProducerAI is now its own standalone spot at flowmusic.app, fully under the Google Flow umbrella. You type a plain description – vibe, genre, lyrics idea, mood, whatever – and it spits out complete songs with vocals, arrangement, everything. Want a playlist instead? Same deal. They added proper remix tools too. Extend a section, swap parts out, or tweak wi

Well, I tried Google Flow Music. It definitely opens up new possibilities. Here's my feedback, so far. PROS: The space concept is great, it should come with predefined apps, so that people wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel each and everytime. (You can vibe code your own music apps and effects). It is packed with features, feels like Udio on steroids (trim, extend, replace, seed, remix, session, stem splitting, and more. Voice seems to be missing for now). The workflow is rather different, thoug

This is amazing for no copyright audio for background music to YouTube videos!

5 downgraded to 1 Star: I started off a 5 star with this but downgrading to a 1. The music generating part is decent, but the music video generation that is supposed to differentiate this from Suno is simply not following prompts correctly at all, costing people thousands of AI credits on wasted generation attempts. It’s almost as if Google is doing it on purpose so you have to keep wasting paid credits like a slot machine to get the video you want. And it has this insistent need to not follow

Great video, a couple of things: 1. You can make a a 2 min video for 1500 credits, given you have 30k, you should have no issues running out. Also Gemini Pro does get extra credits and is a Flow Music Plus subscriber. Which is a very generous subscription.

This takes Flow Music next level!: Wow, I am really impressed with this app, I have been using it for a few days now. It is feature complete with Flow music web and the app just works. It really is music creation in your pocket and on the go!

Honestly I liked it better when producer AI(formerly riffusion) was it's own thing before being bought by google. They even nuked everything people had there before the transition and at least they warned us so we could download our stuff.

Not working for me: The app doesn’t is bugging hard I haven’t been able to to make one song on a iPhone 17 pro

NEGATIVE app_store

Won’t let me in: I been having an account on this app since i was 13 and i didn’t have any problems with it however now that i’m 15 years old I tried using my account and it logged me out every time saying their working on letting people under 18 use the app even though it’s a 13+ app

Personally, I still prefer Suno. Google Flow Music has remained at the same sound quality as Riffusion /Producer, and I don't see any evolution. The chat feature for sharing your song ideas is interesting, but you need to have a clear idea right away to avoid having to spend minutes asking for changes. I increasingly think Suno is a subjective experience, where everyone finds their own path without needing to rely on everyone's tips and tricks. They're very useful, but they don't always suit eve

🚀 Absolutely mind-blowing tutorial! The speed at which AI is transforming content creation is incredible. Being able to create songs, videos, voices, and instrumentals from a single workflow opens up opportunities that were unimaginable just a few years ago. What I appreciated most is that this video doesn't just showcase the tools—it explains the complete process from idea to final creation. That's extremely valuable for beginners and experienced creators alike. The future belongs to
