“For those that don't know, Adobe Podcast is a web browser tool you get access to if you have a Creative Cloud subscription, and it is AWESOME. You give it crappy audio of someone talking and it spits out near studio level sound quality. For most of my videos, I've stopped using a good mic, I just use my macbook's internal mic if I'm doing computer recordings or I use a random crappy lav mic and then throw the audio into Adobe Podcast. “Adobe shame on you, very buggy software always crashed, I have high end PC more than mention recomened specs. The recent version of premier pro has UI issue not showing any text selection or mask on preview tab. Charging high monthly fee but very laggy and stupid softwares. ”

Adobe podcast is impressive at first listen but it's pretty poor quality once you learn what it sounds like (there are some way way better products out there.) It resynthesizes the voice entirely and there are often many randomly missing phonemes that make the voice sound very artificial.”

“Signed up for the free trial to test a feature they have advertised. It was to do with applying ai to video editing and changing backgrounds. Not only did that functionality did not exist as part of the package that was recommended for the free trial, but also when I cancelled the subscription somehow I needed to cancel something else to actually not get charged. So now I am locked into a 1 year contract with them, unless I pay extra to cancel early for something I am not using. that's £21.99 pm”

Seriously, what is the point of outsourcing the support department to India and teach the employees just some basic phrases such as "you will get the highest priority" or "your issue will be solved in 5-7 business days"... I have purchased Adobe Cloud 1-year subscription and after a month I'm still not able to use it. There's no way to force Adobe to help me so if they don't want to, they simply won't. “Terrible support. Adobe updates its programs often. Tbh I see little benefit from their updates as they tend to create more problems than they are worth. The new Ai features are pretty useless so I keep to very much a manual work flow. My main issue is they have very poor if non existent customer support for professionals. I have subscribed since 2015 and I am now looking at Affinity Photo which is a one time purchase and so far works well. ”

“I made the mistake of downloading Adobe Acrobat Reader. What occurred next was the download from hell. Without asking me, Adobe downloaded not just the reader, but two versions of Photoshop, Creative Commons code and some other crud. It also attempted to install a chrome extension that would have had power of attorney over anything I did in Chrome. It also attempted to download McAfee anti-virus software, and that was very bad because I already have anti-virus software and terrible things happe”
